Dust, Water, Fire II: Lucien Shapiro

Circa 2019 at Arvia Gallery in Los Angeles, CA. I participated in Performance Artist & Sculptor Lucien Shapiro for his second edition of ‘DUST, WATER, FIRE II’. A participatory performance with the audience as they made offerings of releasing unwanted energies and planting into the earth the seeds of the individuals heart’s intention written on paper embedded with wildflowers. Lucien’s creations are often channeled energies made manifest inspired by nature, energies made into form from the collective, and inspired from ancient ritual. My participation held a soundscape of a thunderous gong and the tones of crystal bowls filled the night air as the Artist held space as Nature spirit itself, transmuting each prayer of release and invitation.
