“into a deeper forest”

Last year in 2022, I was approached to photograph two women that I hold dear to my heart for their collaborative project “Into a Deeper Forest” by JC Caldwell & Erica L. Phillipson. What you see is the cover of a collection of poetry and channeled expression between two mothers during a very pivotal moment of humanity during 2020 - 2021. The image I photographed was further amplified by collage artist, Allison Bagg.
